Ok. So I have a golden SEbright hen who hatched out one chick. The chick is about 4 weeks old now. I had them in a pen intue barn but when I go to feed the hen freaks out and tramples her chick all the time. Today I went out and the hick has his hea tilted. Still acting alright just. Little off balance. If I keep them in the pen she just runs him over more because it can't move out of her way fast enough now. If I Put them in the coop she half ignore it and it can't get away from the other hens well .

I have 2 week old standard babies in the barn and 5 day old hatched out bantams too (all in different Pen of course). Should I pull the peep away from the hen and put it in with another pen? If so who? Should I give the mother hen some standard babies if I take the peep away? Idk what to do
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.
