Me too! I know how to knit, but it usually ends up in disaster. Also, I'm not patient enough for it. I like being able to see a good chunk done in a short amount of time, like crocheting.

Look.what.I.found!!!

The pattern is in a different language, but there is a translation. Sometimes, though, the translation is hard to follow, but there is also a chart! SO CUTE!

LOL!  Glad to meet another yarn snob!  I also work mainly with wool but I also like working with cotton, flax (linen), silk and other protein fibers.  Why yes, I do spin my own!  :D

When I'm not spinning, I'm knitting.  Although occasionally there will be dyeing, crocheting, tatting, felting or weaving going on.

I'm not much of one that will knit/crochet the posted patterns ... I have too many in my queue already.  I will love to see others finished projects though!

YAY!!! clap.gif  Always nice to meet more crochet/knitting friends. You will all have to also drop by the Crochet Chat thread and say hello. It's just a place where crocheters can post projects we are working on and chat or even get help. There is also a BYC Knitting Club, so you knitters make sure you drop by there and say hello as well. I haven't had time to sit still long enough to learn to knit yet, but maybe one day. I'd love to learn how. I learned to crochet from my grandmother when I was about 7 yrs old, but didn't learn how to read patterns until about 4 - 5 yrs ago. I have a list of projects I need to finish, so I may not have time to do your posted pattern, but would love to see everyone's finished products.

Ooooooo I love yarn and would definitely be a yarn snob if I could afford it!!!!

Pretty soon the rules & regulations for the next crochet swap will be listed if any of you crocheters are interested. SunnyDawn is hosting it. We just finished the spring swap, so not sure when she'll post all the guidelines. Just keep checking the Spring Crochet Swap thread or the Crochet Chat thread if you are interested in signing up for the next one.

Happy Hookin'~
