Ideas on the Signage for our new Coop/Run

i will be posting pics from phone after this has been posted so the Design and Construction can be shared. So far i think we have to room for about 50 chickens so far. We only have 8 (3 Roosters and 5 Hens, we think), but plenty of room to run. The small amount of fowl friends is a good amount for me to learn without becoming over-whelmed by the duties of Raising these lil boogers. anyway, they run stretches a good 20 feet by 15 feet approximately. and is four feet tall and slopes upward to 8 feet by the coop.

again i have never done this before so the challenge is helped from everybody's advice here. YAY for BYC.

So now the Name of our little coop is the next step.

so far i have a few ideas but was hoping that you all may help fuel me a bit.

Name for a coop.  Well……here’s my long version.

My Father’s initials are L. L. and part of the inheritance he gave went to build the Lazy L ranch (20’ x 30’ pole building).

And since I going in the chicken ranching business, I decided all the chickens names will start with the letter “L”.  Notice the theme using the letter(s) “L”?

The BO rooster’s name will be Lucky.  He’ll be lucky if he isn’t the first one invited for soup (chicken soup that is).

With the amount of money I have “invested” in the coop and run, the ladies will need to lay golden eggs for me to make a profit.  And continuing with the letter “L” and a western saloon theme the coop could be named “The Golden Egg”.

Name doesn’t sound right.  Let’s go with “The Golden Nugget” and we end up with a sign that says this:

The Golden Nugget

Lucky Rooster, Proprietor

Liquor in the front - Poker in the Rear - Billiards up stairs
