I bought some Welsh Harlequin ducks this year. I also bought some Arucauna chicks. The ducks are ending their 7th week and the chickens are ending their 8th week. The chickens are a lot friendlier than the ducks. I need to spend more time handling the ducks though all will come eat out of my hand. I had chickens when I was a kid but I'm new to ducks. I also have 1 horse and 5 cats plus my husband. He is a suburbanite who married a farm girl and is new to everything farming related. We have 3 acres, which isn't a lot, but we are starting to grow our own vegetables and berry bushes. We want to add fruit trees and rabbits. I came across this site today and have found it very informative. I look forward to being a member!
