What was that one sold to you as?  It looks like it's going to be barred

I think that little chicken I got earlier was adorable. I am in love with it. I am hoping its a showgirl serama something like that. the other showgirl I got is a show girl but its twice as big as this one.

I am wondering if the NN isn't first generation silkie X NN...It wouldn't be a pure showgirl but it would have the silkie toes and maybe the mom/dad's other attributes.  If you bred back to a silkie, you would get more 'silkie looking' showgirl...with the proper feathering and skin color.

I agree here. That first chick looks like a "project" Showgirl. Most of the better looking SGs come out of crosses of at least 10-14 generations, yours looks to be in the first, second, or maybe third? As for Condor, ?????? another project? If he is crossed with Silkie, he has a straight comb, and will take quite a bit to breed that out if that's what you are intending to do. He is rather...handsome? though! gig.gif
