Newbie to Gardening *UPDATE! TOMATOES GROWING!* - Page 2

One other thing is that peppers don't really need a lot of extra fertilizer. If they're fertilized too much, you get a lot of leaves at the expense of the peppers.

Well, besides being crowded, the little garden is thriving! I'm hoping to get some nice tomatoes and green peppers (and some other veggies). Like I said before, I am a newbie and don't know what I'm doing. I'm sure everybody's right about it being overcrowded... but things are going great right now.

It looks great! Throw some veggie fertilizer to them occasionally to make up for the lack of soil. Nice job!
I'm joining a gang and getting a tattoo. Ok... I'm joining the Elks lodge. It's like a gang. And I was kidding about the tattoo.

Garden Update!

The tomatoes and Green Peppers are still growing! They require a lot of water (probably because of the small space they're in and because tomatoes drink a lot). I had to tie them together because they started to droop over. The cucumbers died, but the tomatoes are doing great. They're a little droopy because I forgot to water them this morning.

There's some bulbs growing off of the plants now. Are they early tomatoes?

Looking good! Yours look better than mine in a garden! We haven't had much rain this year and my lawn and garden are showing it.

Yes-I notice that when you water them a lot, they start getting green and stand up straighter. Thank you for the kind remark! smile.png
