Converted playhouse coop

I'm just excited to show off my new project I started today!  I'm turning this playhouse I got for $50 into a coop for my new girls.

 

Tomorrow I'm gonna finish tacking down the wire over the windows and put down a wire floor, plus a barrel lock on the front door.  

 

Any other suggestions?

I bought 4 straight run chicks that I really THINK are all female at this point, so whatever turns out to be a girl stays here.  Roos go to my brothers farm.  If all 4 are boys, I start over with laying age pullets! We're building a run also.

you're luck to have a place to send the roos.  it should be a great coop for your 4 girls.  good luck.  let us see it when you get it all up & running.

I keep hoping I'm going to run across one of these playhouses on the cheap.  I look forward to seeing your transformation.

I found it by searching for playhouse on Craigslist. There seem to be a ton of them on there. Most people are asking $100. After a few days of searching, I saw this one, the exact one I wanted for $50 and I jumped on it!
