Here is my mother hen with the ducklings she hatched and raised a few years back-\PICT0028 (3).JPG

She used to throw a pink fit when they went into the water!  So funny!

82 chooks, one peacock, 19 Boer goats and two dogs.

Semi-retired and living on a little farm on the edge of the Bunyip State Forest

LOL!! Poor hen! I could just imagine how distraught she was! 

Learning more about taking care of Gods creations one dirty fingernail at a time!
Current garden: 1 Mulberry tree, 2 apple trees, 1 pear tree, 3 raspberries, 4 grapes, 8 4x8 raised beds

Livestock: 4 Pekin (Candace, Zoey, Minda, & Steve) 5 Buckeyes, and 3 Easter Eggers
Current family: 1 Mom (Me), 1 Dad (Sam) , 1 Son (Monk 13), 1 Daughter (Bug 8), 1 American Eskimo Dog (Lilly) and 2 Greyhounds...
