Howdy from Arkansas! -Plus list of Poultry-

Howdy from Arkansas! My name is Cassandra! And I love animals. Any animals really! Chickens, Ducks, Geese, Fish, Dogs, Cats, etc. I decided to join the forum, because when ever I would have a question or problem. I would come to the Backyard Chickens site first. I love any Bantam Chickens and Geese, but my mother loves anything turkey. smile.png

Here is what I have:

-Full Size-

2 Cornish Rocks (Rooster and Hen)

1 Black Australorp (Hen)

1 Black Sex Link (Hen)

3 New Hampshire Reds (Hens)

3 Brown Leghorns (Hens)

2 White Leghorns (Hens)

-Bantams-

2 Black/Grey Japanese Bantams (Babies-Unknown)

7 White Black Tailed Japanese Bantam (1 Hen, 5 Roosters, and 1 Unknown-Baby)

1 White Crested Black Polish (Hen)

1 Black Cochin Bantam (Hen)

2 Mottle Frizzle Japanese Bantam (Rooster and Hen)

1 D'Uccle Mille Fleur Bantam (Hen)

-Ducks-

1 Pekin (Drake)

2 Cayuga (Hens)

2 Mallard (Hens)

I am actually going to be rehoming some the the 3-4 White Black Tails Japanese Bantams, soon. I got the Frizzles as a "pair",  but I am going to be separating them, when the hen starts laying.

It's the shape that makes the breed, and the color that makes the variety.

Thank you everyone! And yes I do have quite a collection. The bigger ones are just for egg production. We love fresh eggs here. I am hoping to get into breeding Bantams.

One of the Black tails, the Polish, and the D'Uccle I wasn't actually supposed to have. But someone gave them to me, who was getting out of chickens.
