Central Louisiana poultry laws?

i'm moving to Central Louisiana this summer (it's right by Baton Rouge) and my parents are letting me get chickens and/or ducks if the laws allow it. however, i can't find info on keeping poultry on a suburban lot anywhere! could anyone help me out?

thanks, but Central isn't on there. 

i think i may just email someone to figure it out. The laws might even be the same as Baton Rouge, considering that Central sed to be part of it

Yea, I knew it wasn't on there specifically.  I live in Madisonville, LA and haven't been able to find specific ordinances either.  I'm getting chickens this summer.  I did find an ordinance for Mandeville that only said the fowl had to be contained on the owner's property, but was not more specific.  Good luck finding the information you are looking for, maybe go to a farmer's market and ask people selling eggs.  I'm going to go talk to the farmer's at the Covington market to see if they know what the regulations are.
