my game hen went broody and this morning when i went out to the coop there was a baby chick. should i leave the chick in the coop or should i bring it inside. or should i just wait and monitor the hen to see if she has good instincts. she was very protective of her eggs anytime another chicken or myself got near her she would like growl like a pitt bull lol. she only got off the eggs a few times so i think shes a pretty good mother. but what are some signs to watch for? but i need an answer for, do i leave the chicks with the mom or do i bring them inside?

Leave the chick with the hen.  Pay attention to them as much as you can.  If she stays away from the chick, then it is time for you to step in.  If she moves away from the chick, but is still aware of where the chick is, she is caring for it.  It is not unusual for the hen to wander away for a few minutes.
