Just getting started in Texas!

Hello everyone. I'm Ossie from Texas, around the Austin area. My family and I are planning on keeping chickens and I was assigned to researching them and figuring out all we need to know about them to be successful in our efforts which I'm actually pretty excited about. If anyone has some must-read or even just possibly helpful info for me to use that would be fantastic! I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions so everything will help.

Crested Ducks                     Common Chicken Practices          Learn more about Avian Influenza

Helen: Daria, do you have to look at everything in such a negative light?

Daria: Could you possibly be referring to the harsh light of reality?
