Trying to post pics, taking FOREVER

I use Mozilla and am trying to post pics to a thread that is already started.  I choose the pic from my computer and it takes forever to load.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanx

Me, Husband, 2 lovely children, 1 BIL, 5 dogs, 1 hen, 1 rooster, 8 Barnyard Raptors, 3 California White Leghorns, 3 Banties, 11 Black Silkie Bitties, 16 Hatchlings, and one BIG FOOD BILL.  GAAAAH!!!!!!!

 

Ya know... This list keeps getting longer and longer.....

 Here are a few questions that will help us find, duplicate, and hopefully resolve the problem:

•  What were the exact steps you took before having the problem?  Please be as specific as possible so we can do exactly what you did.
•  How long has it been happening?
•  Which browser version are you using (eg., Firefox 3.5.9, Internet Explorer 7, etc.)
•  Have you logged out, deleted your internet cache / browser history of files, logged back in, and tried again?
•  Have you tried a different browser (we suggest Firefox or Chrome)?

 

Also, what size and type are the images?  Try downloading a pic from BYC (any pic) and see if you can upload it back to the site.

1. I was replying to a thread that I started and wanted to add pics.  After I typed in my reply, I clicked on the button to add a pic.  I chose the pic from my computer.  I clicked submit on the box.  It started to load and never stopped.

 

2. It has happened sporadically in the past, but I have tried multiple times tonight and it keeps doing the same thing.

 

3. Firefox 11.0

 

4. Yes, and it didn't help.

 

5.  I use Firefox.

 

6. They are JPEG.  1.87mb.  I was able to add the pics that I wanted to my album on My Profile, but got an error when I tried to add them by URL.

I also just found out that it happens when I try to change my avatar.

Can you post an exact copy of the error message or even better, a screenshot?

This is the problem I am having.  It does this for as long as I'll let it.  It just says loading, and the circle keeps going around and around.  I get nothing else.

There is no error message.  It just says loading content and the circle keeps going around.  It has been running for about 5 or 10 mins, while I have been trying to respond to this thread.  I tried to include a screen shot.  It shows up in preview, but not in post.

I even tried to PM you the screenshot, but it didnt even show up in preview on that one.

I see you've been uploading some pics that are in your default album, so some of them are / have gone through.   Do you have any ideas what the differences are between the ones you're uploading that are working and aren't working?
