im gonna go with the miano elements

rough design.jpg

also what i have thought about is im gonan have the fans independant so i can turn them off for use in hatching Duck and Geese

and i will have a Humidity control Unit [Brinsea H22] that will be connected to teh top using the traditional way using the evaporating pads

the elemts will be enclosed and made safe inside a screaned wire mesh cage

I only suggested getting a crock pot, because they are EVERY WHERE around here at garage sales, and thrift stores.

In the beginning there was nothing. God said, Let there be light! And there was light. There was still nothing, but you could see it a whole lot better. Ellen DeGeneres
also//////// Y'all also need to check out my homemade cooler incubator, my homemade fridge-a-bator, and my cabinet incubator on my BYC page.

im not knocking your suggestion it was a great one but crock pots you dont see many here in UK at garage sales [car boots] and new a bit expensive

but the miano element i can get as a double pack direct from miano UK for £30 so that for me is a bargain

No offense taken, I completely understand, but I was wanting to redirect you to other sources for a crock pot element rather than spending over 10$ at the store. Oh, I understand. I would go for the maino elements as well, if I were in your position.

Looks like a winner. I know you have been thinking it over . Ninety percent planning and ten percent construction. I'm sure it will turn out great. Oh, and I  can't believe you are on the metric system. I thought the British invented feet and inches.  Whats the world coming to.
