I got a clarification about the weaned mammals. this applies only to guinea pigs and rabbits, not other livestock that enters the food chain (sheep, goats, cattle, these can be bottle babies and sold without a problem)

Anyone going tomorrow, May 12? We're not bringing any chickens or anything (although seeing how many local folks are breeding makes me want an incubator!) but might be in the market for this or that...

in particular lambs right?

if you post what you are looking for, people are more likely to bring it. i go through my pens and say, some one is looking for x bird, I have that and based on space, I am more likely to bring that bird and just a random one to sell if I know someone is looking for it. I also post that I will have it at that swap so they are more likely to come prepared to buy. this swap is being put on by the store (I heard all TSC stores are having "out there with animals" day some are having swaps or special events, some are not)

I didn't go to Wilton. I have new chicks and eggs hatching, so I need to be around home.

I'm waiting to sell bantam cochins and d'Uccles at Windsor on the 27th.

By the way, Hoppy,,,,I did get my show in the mail yesterday,,,,but thanks for the email copy :)

I dont tend to go to the Windsor show because it is a ways from me and just too formal and everything haha! I like the smaller fair ones (except when they dont feed or water your chicken like they are supposed to. I have had some problems with that) Well anyways I have some nice chickens this year and cannot wait to see how they do at the smaller fairgrounds shows. For the swap I should be going, and I will bring whatever I have left after selling from home and the Skowhegan swap. Mostly rabbits, and chicks, but maybe some adult chickens as well!! My break from swaps has been long enough.. I CANT STAND IT ANYMORE!!!barnie.gif.....my mom has enjoyed her break.... ya.gif
