Hi from Northern New York

Thread Starter

married 40 yrs. in sept. four grown children and four cherished grandchildren.  Have a 12 yr. old cat and 2yr. old Weimariner who thinks she is a lap dog.  Had meat chickens last year for first time.  Expecting 6 american's and 13 buff orpinton's in a couple of weeks.  Grandkiddies talked us into four ducks and a couple of baby keets (guineas) have found their way to us.  I was so happy to see the article about ducks in grits guide to back yard chickens.  We have several books on chickens and been reading up on them, but now need info on ducks and guineas.  was very happy to find this forum ...I'm sure we will be checking back often and definitely sending for book on ducks.  Thanks

HI and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan frow.gif

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?
