Hi from Florida.. new to this.

Completely new to this.  Have had chicks for about 2 weeks now. They were almost 2 weeks when I obtained them and they are nearly 4 weeks old now. Their bday is April 7th, 2012.  There's 3 of them.  No idea of their sex.  We have them in a rabbit hutch for now.  Going to build a Chicken tractor.  They are Black Copper Marans.

Hoping they're not all roosters.  A friend unloaded them on us for the experience.

Thanks!

Hello and welcome-byc.gif
I'm glad you've been enjoying having your chickens so far, and I hope you have many more rewarding experiences to come! If you want some help identifying the gender of your chickens, you can post pictures in What breed or gender is this?.
Don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have, and enjoy the site! big_smile.png

P.S. Your chicks birthday is one day after mine. lol.png

Black Copper marans you say....I happen to have a yard for of this breed!  Most some pics and I will sex them for you.  I need to see close up of the face.  I am looking for wattle and comb development.

Welcome to BYC!  It is a great place to learn how to take care of your newest pets....

I am just outside of Jacksonville.  Where in North Florida are you?

Hi there.  I'm near the capitol city except in the country.  I actually already made a post last night and most are confirming what I thought in the beginning- 2 roosters and a hen. Please feel free to take a look :)
