Howdy....

Howdy ya'll. Pretty new to all this but I felt this was a pretty cool site and liked what all I seen. We just started with our 8 chicks in March and just finally got the coop built so all our hens could be taken off the heat light and put out. I just went today and got ten more to go under the light until they are feathered! Its quite the process by it's cool to watch them grow and gain their own personalities.    smile.png

thanks for the welcome.  I have been lookin at the sight for awhile and it seems really nice. I like the idea of bein able to talk to those who may b able to help with a situation cause they themselves may have gone through the same thing. And hopefully I will be able to do the same. Never thought I would get into the whole chicken raising thing but I do believe that I am hooked. LOL I love watchin them grow and gain their own personalities!   smile.png

Yes, that's true, I was actually pretty surprised when I first started looking through the raising chickens section how many people had gone through the same things as me!

Their personalities are hilarious aren't they, I had one chicken who thought she was queen of the world, and even went down as an 'old lady' trying to peck at the younger chickens. lol.png
