I'm assuming these are chicken eggs. If the incubator temperature stayed lower than 99.5 more than it stayed right at it, the hatch day will be a day or 2 later. You will have pips by morning! Make sure your humidity is up and don't you dare open that bator again or you will be punished.

Yes they are chicken eggs. The temperature ranged around 97-100 so it did get lower than it should have been. Also, I went out of town and got back on the 20 day. The temperature was down to 95. So I figured that might be it. I know, I keep telling myself that I have to leave them alone until they look like all that are going to hatch have hatched. I haven't opened it since by the way. Also, do have any ideas on how to raise the humidity? It is down to 40%. I have two wet sponges in there. Sorry, I'm only 13 and this is my first time incubating chicken eggs (I have incubated and hatched duck eggs but I know that they have a few different needs...)

leaving eggs for 20 days without any attention of temp and humidity is not good. If you are using bator which have auto turner then its okey.. Otherwise you must turn eggs at least three times a day. If your temp and humidity is stable at the day 17 you must lockdown at 18... by increasing humidity up to 70-75%.

I know. I have an automatic turner and had been turning them up until the 18 day (I went out of town and had to put them into lockdown early). I am really worried about the humidity. It is at 45% and I don't know how to raise it....
