Hi everyone!

Hi all!
I'm Jen, and I live in Georgetown, TX (just north of Austin). This weekend I got my Mother's Day gift early...three adorable chicks! I have been obsessing over chickens since we moved out here and away from the city, and hubby finally listened to me. smile.png We are starting small, and I know we will expand once we get the coop set up and get in the groove of raising our chickens.

I'm a SAHM of a toddler boy, three dogs (red heeler, bagel [basset/beagle mix], and a chihuahua [the only male]), and married to my eHarmony match. Glad to have found this place, and looking forward to making friends, learning, and feeding my obsession!

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan big_smile.png

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?

Hello Jen and welcome-byc.gif
Glad you were finally able to get chickens, you'll probably want a ton more soon enough, most people do. lol.png
