Ya, That is my issue. i don't want anyone to eat him! hit.gifWe only got chickens for the eggs so having a rooster is kind of pointless. Plus I am pretty sure my neighbors wouldn't like me much if I had a rooster sad.png

Well, do you eat chicken?  I know some people here feel differently, but I eat chicken, and I would rather eat a chicken that had a good life than one that was stuffed in a box in a meat factory and wound up in the grocery store.  It's a bit sad, but it is true that they are food, sorry!

We have a dozen different breeds of chickens and we love them all!

Boy.

Mama to thirteen chickens (Amy, Tilda, Lily, Adam, Esther, Junior, April, Ella, Sofia, Brett, Davie, Elsie, and Hayley.  ). I lost my favorite chicken Nov. 25th 2012 to my cat Demi. She was a mix breed bantam. I also lost five White Silkies to a raccoon. two cats (Demi and Lulu), one Angus bull calf, (T-Bone), sister to seven siblings, and incredible daughter to one Grateful Daddy and Mommy.
