when to toss the clears?

I have 24 turkey eggs on day 13 and was wondering when to take out clears to avoid them exploding. Thanks

I would take them out now.  If they are clear at day 13 then they are not fertile and you run the risk of them exploding and contaminating your growing embryos.  Good Luck with your babies.

Thanks! Just candled them all and took out 5 clears. not too bad some were a couple weeks old. I've only hatched chicken eggs once before and forgot how easy it was to tell the difference betweenthe good and clear ones.

I usually candle at day ten by which time it's pretty ovious which ones are growing and which are not. By day thirteen it should be very obvious so it's a good time to remove any showing clear.
