I candled the eggs this last weekend.  Look like 12 or 13 of my 15 eggs are fertile and have development in the egg.  Wow that would be fantastic results with shipped eggs!

I set a whole pile of eggs on the 28th.  I bought some Americana eggs and she threw in some banty, duck and geese eggs too.  The chickens go on lockdown this Wed so I should have time to up the humidity for the duck and geese.

50+ hens Australorps with a few black stars, 1 Americana roo, 1 barred rock roo .  3 Horses, 5 dogs and one small bipedal life form.

Great!  Hope you get a bunch.  I'll be locking mine down sometime on Thursday.  I set my eggs late at night on the 28th.  Fingers crossed.

Ok my hatch is over.  I had a nightmare of a hatch this time!!  I had set my eggs in my bedroom closet floor as I always do.  Well.... when they began to hatch this last saturday night I decided to move them to another room for the sake of my wife being able to sleep.  BIG MISTAKE, HUGE MISTAKE!  I unplugged my styro chest type bator and prepared to move it.  The bottom corner slipped out of my hand and I dropped it about 2 feet off the ground eggs and all.  I had one chick already hatched out and a few others pip.  Needless to say I think it cost me most of my hatch because I only ended up with 5 out of the original 15 I set.  I put 12 in lockdown and so that means 7 died either from natural causes or from my own hand.  In the end I am happy with the 5 I ended up with.  If I have 1 roo and a 2 or three hens out of this I'll be super happy!

Oh no!  I'm so sorry it didn't go well. :(  All of our banty's that were fertile hatched (24 out of 30) and 15 out of 24 Americanas.  Now I have 3 ducks hatched last night and today and 20 more still in there.

hey sounds like you had pretty good luck. I usually do, just not this time.  It's ok totally all my fault anyway.  The 5 chicks I did get are doing great.  As long as I get a few hens and at least one roo I'll hatch some more when they start laying.
