Light Brahma??? Boy or girl??

This is Popcorn and he or she is 4 weeks old. Could you please tell me if you think it's a girl or boy? Also if you think it really is a Light Brahma? I am trying to see what breeds I have so I can learn as much as I can about each breed.

It's a bit early to tell yet, but from the legs, I would say cockerel.

Breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

I have zero chicken willpower.

I have no idea! LB are so hard to guess. My 4 week old is feathering like mad, but has a pinkish comb. My female Faverolle also has had a pink comb since 4 weeks.

Here is mine.

the one above looks to have 3 rows of peas on the comb which means its a cockerel

I agree with hdowden on the above one. My LB is about nine weeks now and her comb is as light as when I got her and small.

So Since my LB still has a light comb there is a good chance it is a girl?

Yes. It's very hard to sex them at this age. All my chicks grew combs quickly and were reddened at 4 weeks, but I also supplement with probiotics and vitamins until 3 months of age, I had 8 hens. My light brahma is feathering like a hen so far. He/she is 95% feathered at 5 weeks, even under the wings.

My LB is at the bottom of the pecking order and acts and walks like a hen so far. We'll see. My other hen dark brahma has 3 rows in her comb too.

Whether or not if mines a hen or roo, we are keeping the chick unless there's aggression or all day crowing.
