How long have you had them?  When I transported mine into their new settling, it took them some time to feel like they were 'home'.  Do you have enough places where a hen could possibly put her eggs, etc.  and get a break from the persistence of the roo.  They need some space.

i have 3 red golden hens that are sisters, i have 2 that have been laying and almost done, they are in with a 2 yr old male and 1 that is in with a 1 yr old male and the latter hasn't laid anything, the girls are yearlings also, who knows, i've had fertile and infertile eggs from the 2 that are laying.

Some of these birds take longer to mature than others. The presence of the male bird has nothing to do with the hens laying. If they are ready to lay they will no matter how old your male is or even if you don't have one. I have about 40 one year old Golden hens and never get more than 15 eggs a day from them, so I know they can't all be laying. While my 2 and 3 year old birds lay about every other day. Hope this helps.

I have 6 Red Golden hens one year old, they hatched 05/2011. 2 hens layed at April, 2 hens layed at first of May and the rest not yet. Now I have 10 chicks from the first clutch.

We bought a yearling pair of RGs at a swap just over a week ago. The first thing the hen did was lay an egg within an hour of being released into her new aviary. No eggs since then, though. We're also new to pheasant.
