Black variety tomatoes

I ate my first one raw and I cant stand a raw tomato. But this was a sweet flavour and yummy. I only like fried green tomatoes. If you dont like raw tomatoes give these a go. I got em at lowes. I cant wait to try them fried tonight though!

Good deal. Im gonna try raising the white egg plant variety this year. I have regulars  just now blooming. I always like to try 1 or 2 really crazy or rare varietys each year. I planted kiwis also a month ago.

I raise the white eggplant "casper'.  In my opinion, it is the very best eggplant of all.

I like hearing that. I get alot of my plants already started at Lowes or home depot. Im gonna get one or two today. I dont think they have the "casper" variety here. But I will check what they have and tell yall what i get.

I like the white variety of eggplant the best. I make alot of eggplant parmigiana (roasted eggplant instead of fried) and the skin is alot more tender, and i like the texture alot more   :)

I love black tomatoes!  Yummy!  I have one big Cherokee Purple tomato that is covered in green ones right now, can't wait!  I had a white eggplant plant and it died, may have to replace it now, although I'm running out of room!  Got lots of green tomatoes on them vines out there and the beans are starting to bloom, looking really good!

I so love Cherokee Heritage tomatoes too!  I no longer mess around with a garden any more since it's just me living here now, I depend on my local produce stand to furnish me with them.  Here's one that last summer gave me several delicious 'mater sandwiches from it......
