Redwood vs Other Cabinet Incubators

Thread Starter

Is there a distictive reason someone would want one of the older Redwood incubators over one of the newwer cabinet styles?  I knaow of someone about an hour away that has one of the old redwoods for sale for like $500.  This is not much cheaper than a sportsman.

Well,  I have heard they hold temp and humidity like nothing else, but I went with a Dickeys Incubator and a Dickeys hatcher because they are made of wood, so hold humidity well.  They have an electronic thermostat so hold temp well.

There is a thread on here about redwood incubators.  It would probably answer your questions.
