Also I had a co-worker who got pregnant while on birth control, and she blamed the hospital because the never told her that anti-biotic meds could make her birth control ineffective, I asked her if they asked if she was asked if she was on any meds, she said she told them no, I asked what she thought the pill was then? she told me I was mean! Mean? you get a prescription from a MD take it to a pharmacy they give you a container of pills and a hand full of papers telling you all the side effects and how to take it and it's not a med.? and I am mean because even if it's not perhaps if it where me I'd tell them just in case it might be relevant in what pills they give me or that there may be something wrong with me because of me taking it and not a virus????

Don't you know that if you don't gush with sympathy every time some idiot suffers the consequences of their own irresponsible actions, you're "mean"?? You ole meanie, you.

People have abused that word so much lately that my standard response now is: "No, If I stuck my foot out to make you fall down the stairs and then laughed when you got hurt, I'd be mean. I'm just being logical. What you meant to say is that the truth hurts."

Be sure to tell her it was most likely from the store bought, mass produced eggs you consumed at a restaurant.

What I left out of my story after the fact of being called mean I pointed out to this lady (she was 3-4 years older and went to the only other high school in our town) I pointed out I was a boy and they told us in health class that might happen while a female was on the pill, granted different teachers but same curriculum that if I remembered that a person who couldn't be on the pill because I have the wrong parts to take it, she was the one with a problem not me.

We had a turkey once named Giblet.  Guess what she was for.

This is the link to my swap page.  Nothing on it yet, but will see what I can gather up.  Just thought I would share some photo albums of my chicks as they are growing up.  Spotted Butt is currently my only egg layer but she lays faithfully. Elizabeth is a really pretty white easter egger.  And Fatty, is well just a fatty.  I've been told Black Australorp, or Black Giant.  Either way he is big...

The greatest lie the grocery store ever told us is that it's not safe to eat unless it came from a store.

My local supermarket has brown eggs selling much cheaper than the white eggs.

My thought is they are slower selling and get a price break because of the reasoning of posts above...

The brown egg has something wrong with it, it's unclean, etc. So it's not in high demand at retail. Crazy!
