Any thoughts?
Hens: 16 Leghorns or California Whites, 5 Trader Joe's Leghorns, 14 Red Stars or Gold Stars, 10 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Rhodes Island Reds, 4 Silver Laced Wyandotes, 4 Ameraucana, 7 Barred Rock, 1 Silver Laced Wyandote X Barred Rock, 1 Leghorn X Barred Rock. = 64 Hens - chicks 89
Roosters: 1 Trader Joe's Leghorn Rooster, 1 Leghorn X Barred Rock Rooster
Nursing Home hatch-a-long

I would think so. Probably more than enough. I have always gone with 1 nest box per 4 birds
1 Delaware, 2 Black Australorps and 1 EE

That will be fine.. I go with 1-5 ratio...

Quite likely.  They tend to lay in just a few.  Egg laying, like almost everything else a chicken does, is very social, very flock oriented.  They follow the leader and tend to like sitting on warm eggs to lay their own, building a clutch.

Thanks all, I'm taking down the bantam leghorn boxes today and installing the big boxes I got.

I have 20 chickens and most days I only find eggs in 2 or 3 nest boxes.  Once in a great while some one will lay one egg in one of the top 3 nest boxes, but mostly they just use the bottom three.  When we do our new coop, I am seriously considering jus making one big community nest box.

1 Wife, 1 son, 3 daughters, 1 great dane (Lilly)  1 cat (Dave),1 Hamster (Flash)  2 Black Australorps, 4 Barred Rocks, 4 Black sexlinks, 6 RIR, 8 Isa Browns, 6 Buff Orpingtons and 5 Leghorns..House is FULL!
