Hello all. Am new to the backyard chicken coop scene. I have two New Jersey Black Giants JBG (one is actually white) and a smaller brown hen whom I am told is a mix of Leghorn and Plymouth Rock (?). Looking forward to expanding up to a flock of 7-9 birds. I got the hens this past Sat. and as of today have had 7 eggs. Am not sure which of the two JBG is laying? But like their size and temperment. Would love to hear from others about their trails and tribulations. And hope to learn a lot from others. THX
