Woo Hoo!
This is my third attempt at incubating. I have 23 Black Copper Marans eggies I set in my newly purchased GQF 1583 forced air, picture window styrofoam incubator at 11:50 p.m. on May 2. So, today was my first full day of incubating eggs. The temperatures have been rock steady. [fingers crossed]
Here's my beauties — resting just after receiving them from the post office.

It seems like the last two times I've attempted to incubate eggs there has been at least a couple of storms in my area that knocked the power out for a while. And wouldn't you know it — just 10 hours after I put these in — a storm blew in. Sheesh. Midwest weather is so unpredictable — especially during the month of May in Kansas.
I plan of setting up a webcam inside the incubator so I can view them at work in case they decide to hatch without my presence. Ha! Hopefully my hatchmates can view along with me.
Good luck EVERYONE! Happy hatching!
