I have 16 chickies. 4 RIR, 2 Black Australorp, 1 Barred Rock, 1 Silver Wyandotte, 2 silkies, 3 Aracaunas, 2 Buff Orpingtons, and 1 Golden Sexlink. My RIR all stay huddled together, and seem a bit anti-social. When I put my hand down with food in it, all the chicks come up to me and eat out of my hand, but not the RIR. Is this normal? Are they usually shy? I have more of them any other breed, so I wouldnt think it is because they feel out numbered. On the other hand, my Golden Sexlink has really bonded with me. While all the other chicks are eating, she will climb up on my forearm and roost there while everybody else eats. But basicaly, I was just wondering if anybody had any insight into why my RIR are so standoff-ish. Thanks. I really appreciate any advice
