HELP! MY chicken was being eaten alive??

We have 9 chickens in a small coop in our back yard. Recently one of them got bumble foot and we had her euthinized today. Then, last night we noticed another one losing coordination on her foot. She got bumblefoot. Today, we went in back to check on them and the chickens were eating her alive. Her whole head is flesh. She is still breathing, what can we do? Is there any hope for her or do we need to kill her? help please!!

Oh my I would say put her down so she doesn't suffer - that would be horribly painful for her!  So sorry!!

We have a dozen different breeds of chickens and we love them all!

ive had that happen to hens it would be easyier to cull her but if you really care about her i would suggest putting her in a box in your house with a towel get some bactine spray and keep it clean untill it scabs up, if your having problems having it scab up you can use some wound powder or flower works too but the wound powder would be better
