Do adult Muscovies need extra niacin?

Pretty much what the title says. I got a trio of adult Muscovies today. I already love them! I read that some ducks needed a niacin supplement. Do Muscovies? They will be free ranged as soon as they get used to their new home, but aren't yet. I don't know if that makes a difference.

My sweet puppy, Maggie (1yo), 3 adorable baby pet rats, Darby, Lilah, and Faye, 3 cats, 2 bunnies, a goldfish named Ghoti (pronounced "Fish"), 1 Khaki Campbell duckling, 1 Magpie duckling, and lots and lots of chickens!

I don't supplement any of my adult ducks including when I had a scovy

Helen: Daria, do you have to look at everything in such a negative light?

When my ducks have access to good forage, I do not supplement niacin.  I do supplement during the winter when all plants are dormant and the bugs are all gone. But only if there is no niacin added to their feed. Feed made for ducks, turkeys, game birds will most likely have added niacin.

What will happen to them if they don't have enough niacin?

I have chick starter/growner but it says it can be used for ducks as well. It lists Niacin Supplement in the ingredients.

I think ducklings raised in a brooder without acsess to the ground to forage are more apt to have leg issues from not enough niacin.
