The Eternal T.P. Question

That's right. We can say it. We're all old enough, toilet paper. Over the years I've noticed an odd fact. Usually, when a man installs a new roll of T.P. he does it so that the free end hangs over the top and down the outside. A woman, on the other hand will put it on so that the end is on the backside closest to the wall.

What's with that? idunno.gif

When evaluating data one should always consider the source and remember, no one wants to make illegal that which he wants to do.

Im guessing is the flow of the TP, the direction the paper flows. A certain way would roll much more freely than the one that is the other way.

Possibly, but why does the choice seem to be gender specific?

It goes on a roll?

Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton agreed on little publicly, but they did agree that when the public treasury becomes a public trough and the voters recognize that, they will send to government only those who promise them a bigger piece of the pie

lol I avoid the issue by keeping the TP in a flat-backed basket that hangs on the bathroom door. You have to just pick up the whole roll and pull off what you need.

Now chickened is gonna say "there's a door on your bathroom?" Or maybe, "You have indoor plumbing?"

We still are using a catalog lol.png  I actually prefer a boday (sp)

Gardenergal, what if you forget to grab the basket after you sit down? or is it within reach?

If it's over the top, the cat will paw at it until the entire roll is on a pile on the floor.  When it's behind, you end up with shredded, but still useable potty paper.

Umm, I don't do it that way - the Princess does.  Trust me, we are not gender conflicted.  lau.gif

MamaRoo makes a good point here. We had one that loved to do that, ( wee.gif ) and I had to modify my behavior accordingly.

I put it on so the flap is facing you.  Easier to flow and to tear off.
