LOL! Nothing like a great family time!

I love it when the Gremlins get into the kitchen, wrecking havoc in there. Including the one who had the misfortune to get into the food processor LOLOLOL!

Oh, Spook.  You made me cry.

My dad is back in the hospital again.  He has battled cancer as well.  The thought of losing him just shuts me down.  I cannot even go there.  I understand the gasping, rocking pain you are going through.  Please know that you have my prayers.

Weekend over, all the extra family members gone.

Glad they came. Also glad they went away. Constant company

is hard on my parents. But I fully understand their desire to see

dad right now.

Tomorrow morning (9:30) we return to the hospital, where the

doctor will attempt to put a stint in so dad can get rid of the bag

thingy he's been wearing and can go to the bathroom more easily.

Not and answer but a stopgap to bring some measure of comfort

the days wind down.

So tomorrow starts another week.

And now....10 o'cock at night, one of my renters called to tell me her

electric is off in her kitchen. Been off all day. Silly woman. This afternoon

I might of had a chance to look at it. Stores were open, even. Now what

am I supposed to do? Told her to hang tight until I get a free chance to

look at it Monday evening or maybe Tuesday. Some people...

It really does suck that life goes on in the midst of your crisis.  I completely understand the feeling of wanting to just rail at everyone "DON"T YOU KNOW????"  Overwhelming to say the least.  One day at a time.  That is my mantra right now.  I encourage you to look for the book called Death and Dying...  Lemme see if I can find a link for you.

Found it!!!

VERY good information in there about what to expect now and after he passes.  I am so sorry for this impending loss, Spook.  :(

Spook, I've been wondering what to say to you, but I'm at a loss. I lost my Dad too and I remember how awful it was for me and we weren't close. We were never close. It was still horrible.

I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. hugs.gif

hugs.gif   So sorry for your pain at this difficult time.

My family went through this a few years ago with my mothers parents. (my grandpa and grandma)

They died within a year of each other. I still miss them every day.
