Most people here know of our house chick "Z" she's our 2+y/o Barred rock hen who is the most spoiled chicken in history.

Just thought that I'd share some of her dietary likes and dislike.   Please join in and share yours.

"Z" will eat flavoured yogurt but not plain.

She will eat strawberry jam but not strawberries.

She will eat peanut butter but not peanuts.

She will eat mashed potatoes but not raw or parboiled.

She will eat corn but not green beans.

She will eat meal worms but not earth worms.

She will eat roly polys but not crickets...

Go figure...lol

I love my spoiled chick.

And here I thought my chickens were spoiled!

We don't have a dog, so whenever we BBQ chops we toss the bones for the chickens to pick. They love it! They also like this disgusting instant porridge I buy for my son, he's forever leaving his bowl for them to clean out (don't worry, I wash it properly) and of course bread, rice, pasta, fish, mash...

They don't like green beans or cooked egg for some reason, except when it's mixed with sweetcorn. We recently discovered they like eating nettles, which is good. We've got a veg garden full. Oh, they will do anything for fresh spinach!

My flock will eat the gooing inards of squash n pumpkin with the seeds but not eat the meaty parts of the veg/fruit.

They love blueberries and chilled watermelon.

Will not eat salad as they prefer nibbling grass n weeds in the yard.

They love wild bird seed, can't keep em from hanging out under the feeders.

Recently discovered they like spaghetti, some really love it while others just like it. (mom tried to trick me into spaghetti with no meat so I gave it to the chickens.)

As they get to free range and eat alot of natural foods they tend to be picker over scraps that we toss to em'.

Mark 11:22-23

"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.

As I told the DH, I'm not the only one that spoils their chicken...  Hey thanks for the replies.
