Don't fuss at a swan on your porch until..... After they leave. Lol

I opened the back gate to let the geese come in to mow the grass around the house. About an hour later I heard knocking on my back door. Odd, because my front gate is locked and none of my dogs were barking....... So I cautiously made my way to the back door. When I looked down I saw two of my black Swans happily biting the glass trying to figure out how to shred the blind sandwiched between it. I opened the door and Mrs. Swan did her usual greeting. I told her she must get off my back porch and go eat the grass. You would think on 16 acres she would have something else to do........ I already had to barricade off my koi pond to keep her from eating my plants. Well Mrs. swan gave me an evil look, turned around and proceeded to Poo on my Shoe..... And then indignantly walk off...... Lol. tongue.png.

Your black swans sound a bit more curious than the typical mute swan.

Apparently, Mrs. Swan does not take kindly to being shooed away.  We know that a swan poop makes the average chicken poop look very small.  I hope you were wearing shoes that were easy to wipe off.

Lol, it was a suede sandle, but luckily the one she pooed on was upside down.. Hehe. My Blacks swans are pretty curious, all but two are always talking to me and seeing what I'm doing. They follow me around and try to "help"... Me.

Cute... I want some black swans some day.  My mute swans are very beautiful, but at the best they look at me suspiciously and grumble, "You better have some food if you are thinking of coming near me."
