Chickens are about a month old and the ducks are about 2 weeks.  They have been together for about 3 days now.  Everyone is getting along just fine.  :)

Good! I'm worried about where to put everyone. Ducks, geese, and chicks will all be showing up at the same time. It wont be forever, but if they can overlap in the same space for a while it might make my world easier!

Just watch them. We had 2 bantam chicks hatch with our ducks at school and they were in the brooder together for a day or two. I went in one day and immediately separated them as one of the baby chicks had pecked badly at 2 of the 3 ducklings in the brooder. Both of those ducklings died. Nobody at school happened to notice they were being pecked.

I got my chicks well before the ducks hatched.  I tried putting the ducks in with the chicks day one, however, the chicks wanted to peck at them a bit, so I gave them their own 30 gal tote for the first week.  Then when they were as big/bigger than the chicks I put them back together.  The chicks got curious and went over, the ducks pecked at the chicks and the chicks jumped back.  They have been doing fine ever since.

The ducks do go and run under the brooder lamp occasionally when the chickens are having their little pecking play fights, but they leave the ducks alone...  And then they go cuddle with the ducks when they feel tired.  :)

Now, I have taken one of the chicks out to the main pen and the teen chickens started pecking on her, so I built a swank little screened box in like 2 hours and put that in the pen so the teens can see the chicks and get used to them before they are all together.  Same will go with the ducks, since they all live together.

So cute!

My ducks and chicks get along but I do keep separate brooders. Chicks are so easy to brood and ducklings are so NOT. LOL So with all the cleaning I do in/around the duck brooder, it's a relief not to have to do the chick brooder every day, too.

I brood my ducklings and chicks together also. I also coop them all together as well.
