I have ten Pekin eggs set to hatch tomorrow. Four eggs have already started piping! Is very excited and going crazy. It is my very first hatch and they seem to be teaching me a lesson in patience. tongue.png

Yes, I have 7 Indian Runner eggs in lockdown due to hatch Sunday/Monday.  I see several eggs wiggling and one has a small crack with a bit of shell sticking up in the middle of the crack.  This is my very first hatch.  I'm super excited and also super worried!!!  Hope all goes well with your hatch!  It would be fun to hear how it goes if you can keep me posted.  Good luck!!!!

I have 5 Pekin duck eggs in the bator. I am on day 28, and the air cells are too small so I have avoided raising the humidity. I should be in lockdown, but I am not. I have been candleing them a few times a day to make sure they haven't pipped internally. Once they pip internally I will raise the humidity, and go into lockdown. In the mean time barnie.gif

I have kept mine at 99.9. I bought a still air bator from our feed store and I can't complain. It has been pretty good with temp. I know some people I talked to say I need a fan. But if it aint broke -dont fix it. I am on day 27. I know how you feel. I am ready for a nerve pill. I will say I cleaned house in record time and mowed the lawn.

Is it a styrofoam? Little Giant? I have that one. I kept the temp at 99.5 so maybe that delayed some of the developement? I don't have a fan either. HA! I cleaned the house and mowed the lawn too. That's funny. Now I am about to eat, and then candle the eggs again. I just hope they can get to the air cell. If not they will drown. hit.gif
