11 week old EE, thought for sure hen, now getting darker red spots- Help!

So, this is our girl Pearl, she is a near 11 week old Easter Egger.  She has all the colorings, and what I feel (as a newbie) characteristics of a pullet... except this week in some spots her rust color is getting darker, deeper- which makes me worry rooster.  But her comb is smallest out of all my hennies.

Take a look, what do you think?

Still looking like a pullet to me.  The girls combs will turn red shortly before they start laying.  Normally they won't start laying until around 20 to 25 weeks of age.

This girl may end up being an earlier versus later layer :)

With all my breeds,  when you see her squatting then it will only be another week or so before they start laying.

ok, I'm gonna be different and disagree lol.png  I think its a cockeral, even tho the comb screams pullet.  Can you post again in a few weeks?

It's a pullet. Single ridge pea comb, no specifically male traits.

It's a girl, those are girl colors.

Except for the crest, she looks kinda like mine - she's 18+ weeks now and definitely female.. Let us know how it comes out! :)
