New From Cheney ,WA west of Spokane

Hello Everybody!!!

 

 

              I am new to this site and wanted to say hello.... I am a married mother of 3 , 14, 8, and 6, 2 girls and 1 boy... I have had chickens all my childhood.  My kids are raising their first batch of chicks 7 of them...  chicken math, I wanted 3, so we ordered 5 and now have 7. 2 EE 1BO 2 DOMs 1 Maran 1 BR lol, we are constructing our first coop and starting the chicks in a brooder all 1-2 weeks old at this time, it's great that there is so much info on this site and such great advice. I have all kinds of Neices and nephews so this is our summer project as well as raised bed gardens and rain water collection and irragation systems.

Welcome from the other side of the mountains!  Those are some excellent breeds - sounds like a fun summer :)
 

Whoever said don't count your chickens before they're hatched clearly never tried to count chickens after they're hatched.
