Frizzle Polish!

super happy to be so close to having this whole frizzle polish breeding proect close to right. Anyone else love frizzle polish, and creating some of their own?043.JPG

Congrats on your project.

i LOVE Frizzles.

i have just acquired a couple of Blue hens to breed to my blacks, so i have a project too. I would eventually like to add Frizzles to the mix wee.gif

i think these chick shouldgrowup to be just like polish, have all polish but frizzled, beautiful birds

how do you get frizzle polish? (other than breeding the birds)

easiest way is to get a frizzle polish to breed to your normal feathered polish. introducing the frizzle gene from another breed is the long way around.

Don't breed a frizzle to a frizzle though. They can end up with no feathers.
I just got my first chickens, a blue polish pullet & a blue frizzle polish cockrel. They are so cool. I'm hoping to breed them eventually, but right now I'm just working on finding some egg layers. My husband didn't build the coop to watch cute chickens, but for eggs, so I'll have to find a few soon.
Very interested to see what other people are doing with the genes of these sweet birds.
