First time outside. I have an unused ferret cage as of right now, so I grabbed the top and used it as a protector from the critters and to keep them from wandering the whole yard since they are still small.

They have def. stolen my heart!

I gave them water to stand in for the first time today. As soon as I set that plastic paint liner in their pen and started to pour the water they came running. They loved playing with the bumps on the liner and popping the boubles that would appear between them. They splashed around then decided to try and all sleep in the water. I decided it was time for them to get out and get dried. I don't want them in there too long and get too cold. They seemed to miss the water, so I put it in a bowl to see what they would do. One by one they all got in the bowl and sat in it facing each other. It was the cutest.

I spent pretty much the whole night watching them sleep and fight. Every time I heard a noise I'd wake up and check on them. I had a hard time sleeping last night because half of me wanted to watch them all night and the other half was worried if they would make it through the night or not.

LOL, that is exactly how I felt in the beginning, but then you get onto it! It becomes a normal routine!!!

They are some of the most loving creatures though! Its so hard no to fall in love with a duckling<3

3 buff orpingtons: 1 drake 2 ducks, 4 redstar chickens, 1 sassy poodle, 1 parakeet, 1 beta fish, 3 siblings, 2 parents, and 1 Savior I accredit it all to<3

I'm quite surprised I wake up for the ducks. I can sleep through almost anything, but if I hear a duckling move or make a peep, I'm wide awake lol.

My Mom isn't too fond of them, but I think they will win her over big_smile.png

Great! :) I just got home from buying feed (they sure do eat a lot) and found them splashing around in their pool. They are so funny. They look like puppies playing together.

I know what ya mean about eating. Mine are eating a lot too, even though they are still small.

Mine act like puppies as well. They like to run around, nip at everything, eat then sleep lol.
