When you candle the Sebbie, candle the others.  They might still be working yet.

Incubate with them on their sides, hand turn twice a day, humidity at around 45-50.  Then put them in lockdown 3 days before bring humidity up to 60 and then slowly up to 70-75 after internal pip.  

That's what works for me!

You have to lay the eggs down, in fact I'm of the opinion that duck eggs should be on their sides the whole time and hand turned.  And yes on the still air at lockdown.  But I incubate in the forced air.  

As far as the goose.. I'm still trying to perfect the goose hatch.  I do mist and cool once a day for 10-15 minutes.  I would go over to the Goose thread "Here I go I'm hatching more goose eggs" and they will totally help you on the goose.  

Don't give up on hatching ducks.  My first hatches were so bad I never wanted to do it again.  Now I'm getting 90%+ hatch rates. I just had to try different things to find what was best for my setup.  Hang in there!

Not giving up just kinda frustrated that 7 duckies and my goosie baby are gone. 

So is that how you do your goose eggs too only tun twice a day?( I've been doing 3) do you mist and cool them daily or anything like that? 

BTW thank you guys for the support I will upload pics of the crests tomorrow! and the chicks that I moved over to my tiny homemade bator are alive and 2 are out and one is pipped

You'll have great hatches and terrible hatches. It's just part of hatching. I've had 90% successful hatches and hatches where I've only gotten 1-2 out of 20 eggs. Shipped eggs are always worst.

Don't give up. You want to turn 3-5 times a day (always an odd number) and lay them on their sides for hatch if you're not already keeping them on their sides. I guess chickens don't need to be on their sides, but ducks and geese definitely do.

incubator & am now on day 25. I do have a fan going but do i need to turn it off for hatching ? And do i stop turning and put it on lock

down today or tommorrow ? Would so love some help on this. I am beyond excited and so amazed at all of this & want to thank each

I use a forced air incubator and leave the fan on for the entire hatch. Of course, my equipment isn't set to turn off the fan, so I don't really have the option.

I would go ahead and take out the hatcher, bump the humidity to 70% and put the eggs on their sides if it's day 25. I locked down my eggs a day early again this hatch (due Sunday) because they had internally pipped.

You can candle the eggs and see how the air cell has dropped. If the air cell has dropped, or if you see the beaks in the air cell, it's time to lock down. If you hold the egg to your ear and hear a clicking, it's time to lock down. The sound is that of the duckling breathing in the air cell.
