Wow! did somebody turn on the Hungry button?

My original 5 chicks turned 4 weeks today, they eat and drink well, get to graze for at least an hour outside every afternoon, and get a piece of lettuce, kale, or some other treat daily........Friday evening we purchased 4 pullets from a farmers large group of chicks supposed to be a week older than ours, but very close in size.Holy cow!! they are all ravenous all of a sudden, everyone is eating and drinking like crazy!! I am so pleased with the four new chicks! so far very healthy docile, tame, and everyone is getting along, just what i was hoping for....... they are really good eaters, and I think have stimulated the feeding frenzy in my original flock.....

Currently we have a mix of RIRed, PBR, GoldenSL,and Amber White SL pullets.
