What bantam breed?

Hi all.  I picked up this sweet little chick from our local feed store as an Ameraucana Bantam.  I've since learned that it would be more accurate to call it an EE, however, is it truly?  It has a single comb with dark legs (more black than green in real life).  I have standard size EE that had the classic chipmunk coloring at birth, so I don't really have another to compare it to.  Let me know if you've got any clue what breed this chick is.  Thanks!  etd: the chick is about 5.5 weeks old.frisbee2.jpgfrisbee3.jpgfrisbee4.jpg

I think so.  It has always been much smaller than our other four.

No guesses?  I really haven't seen any pictures of breeds with this coloring but I'm also really new to chickens.

if it was large breed, I would say it looks like a black sex link....however it isn't because I'm pretty sure that is a cockeral.

Hmm.. you're right.  It does kind of look like a BSL, but I just checked my local feed store's website and they don't have BSL on their list of chicks anywhere.  I'm not totally positive that it's a bantam either.  I'm just going by what they sold it as and by noting how it has always been smaller than my other chicks.

I disagree with the fact that it is a roo... it really looks like a pullet to me...

I was looking for pics of what my BSLs looked like as babies, but I can't seem to find them.  If that is what it is, and it was pure black as a chick (didn't have a white spot on its head) then it is for sure a pullet.  I'm not seeing anything else that looks close to it, maybe someone else can come up with something.  I wouldn't go by what the Feed stores say they have or don't have...I have gotten both a Dark Cornish and a Silver Duckwing OEG out of the Easter Egger bin at my local feed store.
