duck bill color

Thread Starter

a friend said you can tell sex of duck by bill color, three ducks have dark yellowish/orange bill and one is a pale pinkish color.  So does anyone know if this is true and which color is which sex , since my friend couldn't remember which sex was suppose to be what color :-)    we are sure hoping the orange color are female, otherwise we are going to have to make other arrangements.

Not true, there is one breed that at hatch you can sometimes (if breeding is correct) tell gender by bill color.

Post some pictures to share. However you will most likely be waiting for Quacks or whasps and curled tail feathers (as long as they are scovies)
