When she is growing little feathers around the wound, soak the area in blu-kote and let her free range supervised with the other birds. You'll want to supervise her incase a predator comes, it/they will sense her weakness and the other birds won't let her hide with them. Also, you need to see if the other birds are attacking her and rescue her if necessary.

Molly is my angel chicken. View my page for her story. Her wound isn't there anymore.

UPDATE!

She fully recovered :) THe funny thing is that those feathers grew back curly...

Unfortunatley the other birds never accepted her. I happened to have some 5 week old chicks at the time so I put them together and she adopted them. She sits on them and protects them. THey love eachother. Those chicks were hatched for a specific order though so i asked the woman who bought them if she would take her to and she did. Now she is happy and healthy laying big green eggs! :) thank you for all your advise and support!

I looked at all the caged animals in the barn...the cast-offs of human society. I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness, and betrayal. And I was angry."God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"God was silent for a moment, and then He spoke softly, "I have done something," he replied.  "I created you."
