Sevin Dust, how young?

I treated my flock for lice after our silkies were covered with them. I treated them all with Sevin dust besides a 3-4 week old chick. 2012-04-27 18.47.36.jpg

I was wondering if she was too young for it. Momma hen had lice and the chick sleeps under her wing so I figured she has it too. Same train of thought, that might treat her too being under her wing.

Sevin dust is fine for chicks. Put a little on your fingers and gently rub it in, avoid the eyes and nostrils.

Thanks, I didn't get any of their heads. One of our silkies tried to eat some that spilled on the ground. She's not the smartest, hence the name Paris (Hilton).
